Everyone reading this: do not waste your money at the theater! Instead go out and rent "The omega-man" or even better "The Last Man on Earth." Both movies still managed to miss the point of the book, but at least they didn't mutilate the plot like the Will Smith version did.

Sorry big willy, we know it's not your fault that they hired a MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTOR to direct this movie. I honestly don't think that guy even attempted to read the book. Of course, I can't put al the blame on the directer, afterall, it was the screenplay writer who decided to eliminate 66% of the characters (which is bad, since there were really only 3 characters in the book) and completely distort the ending. Thanks for working god into one of the most hopeless futuristic books not written by Phillip K. Dick. Oh, and way to blow the entire budget on a scene that WASN'T EVEN IN THE BOOK. Excellent job. I applaud your epic fail.

I try not to be one of those elitists that hates any movie that was a based on a book that I've read: If I was all that bad, I wouldn't like "Total Recall" or "Blade Runner" (which just so happen to be a few of my favorites!). I just found this adaption of I Am Legend to be terrible on an offensive level and felt the need to share that with everyone.
