Very nice! Better than the terribly photocopied, colorless diagrams in my dissection manual! This will help me a lot in my Biology class :D

I'm so glad! That's the whole reason I did this. I hated the drawings in my book, so I made this and neural anatomy drawing to help me through my practicals :)

I passed my dissection exam :D Thank you so much for the drawings, you should be the one doing the diagrams for these textbooks!

These drawings are so detailed and accurate! I know you did this a little while ago but do you remember which species these drawings are based on? Also, I don't suppose you know of any good references for dogfish anatomy that I could find online? I'm currently creating a dogfish dissection guide for lab project, working backwards so we got the shark but no guide!

Thanks :)

This makes me wish I had taken pictures of my shark dissection so I could label them all the more. I am working on contacting the lab supervisor so maybe I can have a second chance. I have some labeled fetal pig dissections posted in my gallery right now. Maybe you could look them over just in case I made a mistake in my labeling? Thanks if you do.

Cool photos! I just took a look. Everything looked fine to me, but of course it's been several years since I dissected the pig. I did, however, dissect the cat last fall and I remember that for that one we needed to be able to lable the different lobes of the liver. I don't recall if that was important for the pig or not, but if so it looked like a few of your photos showed the lobes well enough to label. If not of course don't worry about it- the photos are great references as they you have them set up!

I want to dissect a cat. I hope that one of my future classes presents that opportunity for me. We were not told about the importance of the different lobes of the liver, but i think I might look into it anyway.

I got to dissect a cat in comparative vertebrate anatomy. That is an awesome class, by the way. Take it if you ever get the chance. we got to do a lamprey, necturis, dogfish shark and the cat in that class.

Sounds really fun; I will keep it in mind.
